Life is difficult for young people in Moldova and Ukraine.
We are losing an entire generation of youth due to a culture void of values, jobs and parental guidance. Add to that the pressures of war and the thought of a better life for any young person becomes too hard to imagine. This leads many young people feeling trapped. Abandoned. This often leads the young to risky behaviors. Alcohol, drugs and teen pregnancies are on the rise and the cycle of poverty and hopelessness continues.
We believe no young person should have to face a hopeless future trapped in a world with no real meaning or purpose in life.
How can basketball help?
We use the simple game of basketball to introduce young people to Jesus.
And that changes everything.
WE COACH BASKETBALL
We develop basketball skills through hard work and discipline. We build character by teaching players teamwork and integrity.
WE TEACH BIBLE
We introduce Jesus to our players every practice. Over time, trust is earned and hearts open to the powerful message of the Gospel.
WE PRACTICE LEADERSHIP
We build leaders by digging deeper into God’s word and teaching life skills. This combination builds strong Christian leaders.
We understand the struggle.
We get it because we grew up here too. The struggles of poverty and lack of resources can be crushing.
Jesus changes us. And He can do the same for others. That’s why we started this ministry. We’ve been dribbling the ball since 1998 building relationships to change lives and give kids hope. And it’s working! Hundreds of young people have found their hope and purpose in Jusus Christ. These youth are now young, productive adults leading others, breaking the cycle of brokenness and despair.
The ADMIRALS plan to success.
Here’s how we do it. Basketball great, David Robinson, is respectfully called The Admiral on and off the court. We are honored to follow David’s example of faith, training, and loving others in all of our Admirals programs.

The result is changed futures.
Change occurs when the Gospel comes to a young person and they begin to live our Kingdom principles as living proof of a loving God. Before long, their skills on the court become life skills off the court. They become beacons of hope for others. They become agents of change in their communities transforming their places of hopelessness to places of peace and opportunities.

We send qualified Admirals abroad to serve and study with U.S. ministry partners. This experience gives new perspectives on a different kind of future.

These young pleople are equipped to build a better future armed with a deeper understanding of the Gospel and life skills to help change the status quo.
