Jerald Reiner
DIRECTOR
Jerald Reiner is a licensed financial professional and Texan native who has been with Axa Advisors since 2001. Before his days as an investment advisor, he was an international basketball player for five years in countries including Italy, Mexico and Australia; even coming close to achieving the dream of playing professionally with the San Antonio Spurs! After graduating from Texas Lutheran University in 1997 with a BA in finance, Jerald married his wife Patti and they now have three wonderful children (ages 5, 9, & 11) that enjoy their father’s dedicated coaching efforts on sports teams. When not at work or spending quality family time together, golfing remains one of his favorite hobbies.
Luke Speckman
DIRECTOR
Luke Speckman, 4th generation Texan and long time resident and retired Real Estate Broker in New Braunfels, Texas, serves on several non-profit Boards including Admirals, New Braunfels Conservation Society, Holding Ukraine, Options for Life and New Braunfels Mainstreet Partners. He and his wife Lee Ellen greatly enjoy their 10 grandchildren from their 3 children. Lukes interests include old cars, Texas history, outdoor adventures and spending time at their generational family farm.
Darryl Lyons
CHAIRMAN
Author, entrepreneur, community leader, and family man. Darryl Lyons is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Behavioral Financial Advisor (BFA), and a co-founder of PAX Financial Group, a financial advisory firm that honors Judeo-Christian values and helps high-net-worth individuals and families pursue their meaning of true wealth.
An expert in the area of personal finance, Darryl is also the author of several books on the subject matter, including his best seller, “18 to 80: A Simple and Practical Guide to Money and Retirement for All Ages.”
Darryl’s life mission is to create a legacy with people as they grow their wealth.
Mark Burton
TREASURER
As Managing Partner of Municipal Accounts & Consulting, L.P., Mr. Burton oversees the operations of the company that handles over 400 entities. Mr. Burton has extensive experience in governmental, not-for-profit and corporate accounting, management of teams and operations, and insight into growing small and medium size businesses. He believes in a hands-on approach and has expertise in implementation of accounting systems, fiscal management and financial reporting. He has a proven record of developing and implementing financial and operation controls that improve bottom lines and competitively position companies. He is an out of the box thinker that utilizes his unique background to associate across many disciplines and people.
Mr. Burton graduated from Baylor University with a M.B.A. in Finance and Accounting He also holds certifications as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA), Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) and Certified in Financial Management (CFM). In addition, he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin and also holds a Masters in Theological Studies at Houston Baptist University.
Vincent Hu
DIRECTOR
Vincent Hu is a licensed financial advisor in San Antonio with Capital Strategies. Before his career in wealth management, Vincent worked in restaurant management for 11 years in San Antonio at his family owned restaurants. He was a head student manager for the University of Texas Men's Basketball program from 2011-2013 and is the General Manager for the Texas Longhorn alumni team that participates in the TBT tournament every summer. Additionally, Vincent is a licensed FIBA agent and enjoys opportunities to give back and grow the game globally. Together, he and his wife Maricel, have 2 daughters.
