Darryl Lyons
CHAIRMAN
Author, entrepreneur, and community leader, Darryl Lyons is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Behavioral Financial Advisor (BFA), and co-founder of PAX Financial Group, a financial advisory firm that honors Judeo-Christian values and helps individuals and families pursue their meaning of true wealth. An expert in personal finance, Mr. Lyons is also the author of several books on the subject, including his best-seller 18 to 80: A Simple and Practical Guide to Money and Retirement for All Ages. He holds a BBA in accounting and finance from St. Mary's University and a master's in jurisprudence from Texas A&M Law School. His life mission is to create a legacy with people as they grow their wealth.
Mark Burton
TREASURER
As Managing Partner of Municipal Accounts & Consulting, L.P., Mark Burton oversees the operations of a firm that handles over 400 entities. He brings extensive experience in governmental, not-for-profit, and corporate accounting, along with team leadership and a hands-on approach to fiscal management, financial reporting, and accounting systems. Mr. Burton graduated from Baylor University with an MBA in finance and accounting, and holds certifications as a CPA, CMA, CVA, and CFM. He also earned a bachelor's in civil engineering from the University of Texas at Austin and a master's in theological studies from Houston Baptist University.
Luke Speckman
DIRECTOR
A fourth-generation Texan, Luke Speckman is a longtime resident and retired real estate broker in New Braunfels, Texas. He serves on several nonprofit boards, including Admirals, the New Braunfels Conservation Society, Holding Ukraine, Options for Life, and New Braunfels Main Street Partners.
Luke and his wife, Lee Ellen, greatly enjoy their ten grandchildren from their three children. His interests include classic cars, Texas history, outdoor adventures, and time spent at the family's generational farm.
Nathan Ketterling
DIRECTOR
Nathan A. Ketterling earned his Juris Doctor from St. Mary's University School of Law in 2003 and is an equity partner at Rosenthal Pauerstein Sandoloski Agather LLP, where he has practiced for more than 20 years. His work focuses on litigation and dispute resolution, and he advises nonprofits at every stage — from formation and governance to ongoing operations.
He lives in San Antonio with his wife, Christina, and their three children, Micah, Victoria, and Wyatt. Nathan serves on several nonprofit boards and stays active in his community and his local church, Cornerstone Church of San Antonio.
Vincent Hu
DIRECTOR
Vincent Hu is a licensed financial advisor in San Antonio with Capital Strategies. Before wealth management, he spent eleven years in restaurant management at his family's San Antonio restaurants, and served as head student manager for the University of Texas Men's Basketball program from 2011 to 2013.
Vincent is General Manager for the Texas Longhorn alumni team that competes in the TBT tournament each summer, and a licensed FIBA agent who enjoys giving back and growing the game globally. He and his wife, Maricel, have two daughters.
Drake Bigley
DIRECTOR
I grew up in San Antonio and have played sports for as long as I can remember. Over time I focused on basketball and got serious about it, playing at Churchill High School, where I was a two-year team captain. In my early 20s I traveled and worked with nonprofits — including Mercy Ships, a hospital ship serving countries across Africa — and spent time teaching English in China.
Today I work in sales and marketing for Excel Benefits, a family company, where I've served for eight years. I still play when I can: back in 2019 I helped start BBOB, a weekly pickup run and Bible study through Community Bible Church, and every Thursday I coach shooting for a 7th-grade AAU team.
